Deep in the dead of winter on a snowy country road, a young man is running.  Running.  Frozen breath. Ice crystals. Morning sunlight. His face; determined through the pain. His gait; unique.  Slowly, the camera moves lower to reveal the foot.  A prosthetic limb.  And we hear Sam's voice: "I didn't want to be average..."
